Cancel culture is regressive

Severe cancel culture has made it difficult for people to share their views openly. It’s a form of public shaming and de-platforming that aims to hold people accountable. My view is that cancel culture often functions in a regressive and counterproductive way. It prevents people from having healthy learning experiences and cultivates a society full of fear and hate.
